If you’re looking for a change of career or to expand your current client pool as a service provider, Friends Helping at Home is here to help. We understand that starting a new journey can be daunting, but it can also be incredibly rewarding.

When you join our network, we’ll provide you with the tools and guidance you need to become a successful self-employed carer. With our support, you’ll be able to achieve your goals and begin the new year off with a rewarding career.

At Friends Helping at Home, we work toward creating a perfect match of Service Provider with a Client. We ensure that both the Client and the Service providers are happy with the packages that they have. We strive to ensure that our Service Providers feel fulfilled in their professional careers and that they are recognized for the amazing work that they do. We are committed to helping make their work meaningful and rewarding and thank them for their dedication.

Every month we release our ‘Super Monthly Shout Out’ to recognize the hardworking individuals who go above and beyond in their line of work onto our Facebook pages and into our newsletter. We believe there is such importance in letting the public know how incredible our everyday heroes are and want them to know that they are truly apricated for their dedication and commitment.

This month our ‘Super Monthly Shout Out’ has recognized 4 of our fantastic service providers from across our Network, they have also given us some feedback on how they have found being registered with Friends Helping at Home.

EXETER:
Zoe Callard

Steph, Exeter Branch Manager: “Zoe, you are an absolute asset to your network of service providers. You have gone above and beyond for your clients and they are so grateful for you. Thank you for all that you do and for all that you are!!!”

Zoe’s feedback-
I love being registered with Friends Helping at home, the clients that I have been matched with are all so lovely and it is great to have a supportive network behind me as a self-employed carer. It is great being self-employed as it works around my flexibility and I can plan my life and holidays around my schedule rather than to the needs of a company. I would also like to give a shout-out to Steph, Exeter Branch Manager, she is an incredible manager, she is always there at the end of the phone for help and support whenever I need it.

PLYMOUTH:
Hannah Wheatley

Caron, Plymouth & South Hams Branch Manager: “She’s fairly new to FHAH but has already proven herself to be an amazing carer and fantastic team player. Hannah is always up for helping where she can and going out of her way to meet new clients. She’s always so smiley too!”

Hannah’s Feedback-
Being new to the Friends Helping at Home network I was nervous to begin with as I had never been self-employed before and it was all new territory but now that I am familiar with the process and I am so glad I tried something new. I have enjoyed meeting clients and building up a relationship with them and also their families, it is so fulfilling being part of their lives.

TEIGNMOUTH:
Louise Hadley:

Andrew: “I write as a client on behalf of my parents. They couldn’t wish for a better carer and help around the house. Mother has increasingly bad bouts of dementia-related illness and Louise is calm and helps us manage everything. She has recently shown herself to be a genuinely good vocational carer and always puts herself out to help. Getting one’s folks to accept that they needed help around the home was potentially going to be quite difficult as they were stubborn and “not old enough yet” at 90, thankfully Louise fitted in well and started to build an excellent relationship and rapport, doing household chores and recently personal care has been needed. Louise is always punctual and dedicated and my parents feel that nothing is too much trouble and are at ease in relating to her. Thank you, Louise.”

Natasha Johanson:

Emily, Teignbridge Branch Manager: “Natasha was the main carer for a client who unfortunately passed away. Tash was irreplaceable in that package and it wouldn’t have started or continued without her dedication. Natasha is always the first to cover holiday/sickness for her fellow Service Providers and ensures all her clients receive top-quality care! She never fails to pop a kind-hearted message on the group chats to bring up everyone’s spirits! We wouldn’t be team Teignbridge without Tash!
