Our Service Providers are exceptional enablers, drivers, gardeners, house keepers, carers, complex specialist carers and more! Each are on their own journey to build their client base, upskill themselves or wind down their hours after a more traditional career in care. We make our match offers based on the client’s needs, requested qualifications and experience. You are free to except or decline the offered match – it’s your choice.

We provide due diligence throughout your FHAH journey to ensure that you have a skills to be matched with the clients that you would like and have access to as few or as many hours as you choose. This is also designed to support you in having the paperwork you need to keep yourself safe as a self employed person working in this challenging and rewarding industry. 

As an introductory agency, we have a highly experienced, inhouse Compliance and Quality Team, ensuring that we keep up with the latest changes and updates from CQC and beyond. We also have an experienced registration team who are able to support you throughout your journey ensuring that you keep up to date with the paperwork you need to keep you and your clients safe. 

Most importantly of all, your local branch office team are on hand to offer you support and access to our network of Service Providers from all areas of the sector enabling you to develop a dynamic and rewarding career with the next steps of your choice.

You will need:

At least two references.

A valid form of photographic ID.

Evidence of any training or experience.

Registered as self employed*

Why Join Friends Helping At Home?

You can choose your availability, accept and decline shifts when you need and there are no hidden costs, everything is as direct as possible.

How long are the shifts?

Because we offer clients the ability to book shifts via the Service Provider Portal, your shift could be as short as an hour or up to 24 hours. You can set your availability to stay in control of when, where and how long you work.

Where will I work?

Our branches cover Exeter, Plymouth, Teignbridge, Torbay, South Hams, Mid Devon and East Devon areas, but we can supply clients as far as you are willing to travel, you set your preferred rate and if you’re travelling a further distance, you can build that into your rate.
