Introducing our Newest Team Member- Hazel Anderson
Office Administrator, HO and Compliance and Quality

Earlier this month Hazel joined our growing, professional head office team at  Friends Helping at Home that provides help and support for our Branches and care providers.

Our newest team member will be assisting in many areas within our head office team such as: registration and onboarding of new carers joining, compliance and marketing.

Previously Hazel has worked within the Care Sector for many years and has a vast knowledge, skills and experience of providing effective support “behind-the-scenes operational duties” that are commonplace within the care sector.

We have truly enjoyed working alongside Hazel who been with Friends Helping at Home for four weeks and has positive feedback regarding the “Friends culture”:

“Although I have only been with the company a small amount of time, the welcoming attitude and support that I have received from people around me has been incredible.

It is easy to see how Friends Helping at Home provides such a wonderful service, due to the caring nature that is embedded into the morals of every person I have had the pleasure of meeting.

I am so grateful to be able to work in a company that promotes each person individual growth and allows you develop down a path suited their interests and skills.

I look forward to my future with Friends Helping at Home and watching this company thrive”.

Clare Hennessy, Office Administrator, welcomed Hazel’s appointment in a new role, with open arms.  “We seem to be beating the trend with loads more registrations of vocational carers joining our growing teams across Devon, that it has become to create another a full time job to support! Although Hazel has only been us a short time, but I already felt so confident in handing over our registration process straight away.  Hazel is already proving to be an invaluable member of the Friends Family and I look forward to many years ahead of us working together.”

Hazel is a creative person, who enjoys creating illustrations, painting and working on art projects in her spare time; as well as getting out in the Devon countryside, and being an animal lover fits in perfectly with our Friends Helping at Home HQ team who are also great lovers of our four-legged friends.

Andrew, our founder and CEO added: “We all welcome Hazel and its great to see her thrive so well in enabling the team and business to grow. We welcome Hazel to the Team.”

We all look forward to a long and happy journey together with Care at the heart of everything we do.
