Newton Abbot Branch Launching This September-min

At-home care services in Newton Abbot

We’re pleased to announce that our Newton Abbot branch will be launching this September.

Ryan Parker is well known to us as an experienced carer and a valued member of our network having joined the Torbay branch of Friends Helping at Home earlier this year.

Ryan has been working in Torbay where he lives.

In a very short space of time, he has seen the branch develop with a ‘bank’ of fully trained, experienced carers and support staff, looking after a wide clientele that covers Torquay, Paignton & Brixham.

Karen Breyley operates the Torbay branch, and was a care recruitment specialist before opening the Torbay branch provides specialist recruitment assistance to neighbouring branches.

“We all work well together with various specialisms and I look forward to working with Ryan in helping him in Newton Abbot. We currently have excellent opportunities for carers to join us in Torbay, Plymouth and Totnes as well as the new Newton Abbot branch.”

Ryan is a qualified care professional and has worked in care for over 11 years, mostly in the East Midlands before moving to Torquay.

Ryan jumped at the opportunity and applied for this new career opportunity.

He’s looking forward to opening the fourth branch of Friends Helping at Home, and to be based in Newton Abbot with a branch that will cover an area from Kingskerswell to Kingsteignton, Aller to Liverton, and everything in-between with Newton Abbot being at the centre.

Great value quality home care and enabling services in Newton Abbot

“Typically we have been able to save customers money reducing their care costs by 20-25%  whilst providing choice of qualified carers.

Developing a network of staff means that customers can choose and book the carers that they like and are known to them.

In addition to having recruitment help from Karen Breyley, Deborah Cox of  Amplio Training will be providing a useful training and induction resource that ensures that we maintain a high standard and that everyone has access to ongoing training.”

The Friends Helping at Home brand now has established branches in Plymouth, Exeter and Torbay and has widened its services to provide bank staff for care and rest homes following the success of the Plymouth branch in this new sector.
