Introducing Karen Graham, providing extra help and care at home in Totnes
Karen is an experienced care professional.
She trained as a State Registered Nurse (SRN) and moved to Devon in 2017.
Karen has an established business in Galmpton, Nr Totnes providing enabling and care and has decided that she wants to expand and to be able to offer a wide range of enabling services in Totnes.
Totnes will be the third branch of Friends Helping at Home to open this year.

Having worked in the NHS and care sector for many years, Karen is aware of customer needs, and the importance of being able to remain living in the comfort of your own home, but also where the shortcomings the sector are!
Karen says that she already has lovely customers who want to choose their own self-employed carers and helpers.
“They like the social aspects of unrushed visits, where there’s time to drink a cup of tea and chat with them (customers), whilst the washing is on or a meal is cooking, it’s all very flexible and centered on what customers want. they also get much more for their money.”
The Friends Helping at Home approach to helping people with a wide range of enabling services to stay living in their own home, the genuinely friendly and caring ethos attracted Karen to the brand.
“In fact, a friend of mine, a local community worker, met one of the Directors at a charity event, and said you’ve got to meet these people, and made an introduction. I’m glad she did.”
