The First Friends Charity Ball!
Friends Helping at Home are hosting a Charity Spring Ball in aid of the Devon Hospices; on Saturday, 22nd April 2023, at Higher Humber Farm, Nr Teignmouth.
We’re creating an event that has everything for a great night out: good food, drinks, entertainment in aid of Devon Hospices.
Why now?
Back in the depths of the Covid lockdowns we all pined for the things we might have taken for granted, simply to be able to dress up and go out to party!
We wanted to create an annual event that’s genuinely excellent value for money whilst raising funds for worthwhile causes, thanks to the generosity of our Friends event sponsors and Higher Humber Farm and Red Rock Brewery.
What’s included?
The welcome cocktail reception includes: gin based cocktails, wine, beer, larger and cider or soft drink alternatives, served with canapes. A formal sit down dinner features poached salmon, new season’s lamb local produce from the Farm matched with wines, followed by an auction, dancing and a ‘mock’ casino with prizes.
Andrew our CEO: “we don’t want guests to have to pay for anything other than for auction prizes or the mock casino, its also a great opportunity to thank people and put something back into the community.”
