The Teignbridge Branch of Friends Helping at Home was established in September 2018 by Chloe, becoming the second franchise in the Friends Helping at Home network. From its beginnings, the branch has grown steadily, largely through word-of-mouth and customer recommendations – a true reflection of the quality, care, and trust it has built within the community.
Covering a wide area from Kenton to Buckfastleigh and everything in between, the Teignbridge Branch provides reliable, compassionate, and person-centred support to individuals who wish to remain independent in their own homes.

I’ve worked in care for most of my adult life, and I can honestly say it’s where my heart belongs. Over the years, I’ve seen just how much difference a bit of kindness, understanding and good old problem-solving can make and I’ve built my career around exactly that.
I’m the kind of person who can’t help but step in and sort things out (usually with a touch of sarcasm and a smile). I care deeply about the people around me, whether that’s our clients, their families, or my brilliant team and I’d give the shirt off my back if it meant helping someone through a tough day.
I’m also lucky to work alongside two incredible women, Jackie and Gemma, who share the same passion and values that make Friends Helping at Home so special. Together, we’ve built something we’re truly proud of, a community rooted in trust, compassion, and genuine care for others.
