Brand Content Creator (Self-Employed)
South West Based | Self-Employed | Flexible Hours | Travel Required | Approximately 5 Hours Per Week Initially
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Brand Content Creator to help us tell our story in a way that reflects the professionalism, warmth and community spirit at the heart of our brand.
This role is about far more than creating social media content.
We’re looking for someone who can act as a brand ambassador as well as a content creator – someone who is comfortable building relationships across our network, identifying meaningful stories and producing high-quality content that showcases the impact of what we do.
Working alongside our marketing team, you’ll spend time visiting branches, meeting franchise owners, service providers and members of the local community, creating content that supports brand awareness, recruitment and franchise development.
The Role
You’ll travel across our branch network capturing photo and video content that showcases life within Friends Helping at Home.
This will include filming and editing content for social media, creating visual assets for marketing campaigns, and identifying opportunities to tell compelling stories through video and photography.
You’ll be trusted to manage your own schedule, work independently and maintain a consistently high standard of content production.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit branch locations to capture photo and video content
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Film franchise owners, service providers, clients, events and community activity
- Edit content for use across social media, websites and marketing campaigns
- Work collaboratively with branch owners and the marketing team
- Identify content opportunities and emerging content trends
- Ensure all content aligns with our brand values and visual identity
- Manage content projects from planning through to delivery
- Represent the Friends Helping at Home brand professionally when working across the network
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with professionalism.
You will be comfortable working independently, confident engaging with people from a variety of backgrounds, and able to produce content that is both authentic and commercially effective.
You will have:
- Experience creating and editing high-quality video content
- A strong understanding of social media platforms and content performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence filming in a range of environments
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A professional, approachable and reliable manner
Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography or videography would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the brand’s work, a full DBS will be required.
