New Plymouth Branch Getting Ready For Launch-min

Our latest branch launch in Plymouth

Introducing Esther Hadley Branch Manager and Jemma Holly, Kevin Sproston, Branch Directors of Friends Helping at Home Plymouth branch.

We are delighted to have a professional management trio involved from the start, offering help to those needing care and assistance to remain living in their own home in the Plymouth area.

Jemima with her partner Kevin have decided that they would like to open the Plymouth branch, and we think that they have the right blend of professionalism, skills, drive and a passion for what the Friends Helping at Home offers.

Kevin Sproston has been in the Royal Navy since 2001 and is involved in many local community projects including Caring For Careers, Clean My Patch and Improving Lives Plymouth.

Having Started a Hair and Beauty business called Bombshells Hair and Beauty with his partner, Jemima Holly, they have gained many awards for their professionalism and community work: nominated for the CSR Award at Plymouth Business Awards, recognised as a local community champion.

Kevin has been nominated by, Improving Lives Plymouth, for the Inspiring Volunteer Award for his community work.

Bombshells won the most unique Salon in the UK by the Luxury Travel Guide and made their salon the first star rated salon to Devonport rated by Good Salon Guide.

Jemima Holly, a former SRN left the care industry in 2016 feeling disillusioned with management and the care that was being provided.

Unhappy with only being able to provide the bare minimum that quick in-out visits enabled, especially unable to deliver the care and support that clients needed.

Jemima is delighted at the prospect of returning to the care sector which she feels is entirely vocational.

“The Friends Helping at Home package gives customers the choice of carers being able to put every customer right at the centre, and being able to choose the care from people they know.”

Jemima and Kevin are joint Branch Directors and have appointed a Branch Manager as an operational point of contact.

Esther Hadley, Branch Manager has thirty years of management, sales and care.

Kevin says, “She’ll be a great asset to any team and Esther’s looking forward to the launch and be able to support people living in their own home.”
